Missional Households

A Missional Household is where deep friendships are forged around the table, as we support one another to grow in Christ-likeness and mission to the lost.

WHAT ARE THEY?

A Missional Household is a group of up to 12 people. They meet weekly in homes and are working out what it means to live as missionary disciples in everyday life.

WHAT DO THEY DO?

They encourage each other and hold one another accountable for the mission that Jesus has called them to participate in, as they go about their everyday life.

Missional Households are orientated around OCC rhythms and values. The outworking of the mission is determined by the Missional Household to specific people or places.

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.

To help us live as disciples of Jesus in all of life, we orientate our lives around a collective Rhythm of Life.

This Rhythm of Life consists of four directions: Up, In, Out and Down Each direction then has two values: Up = Prayer and Creativity, In = Learning and Community, Out = Gospel and Hospitality, Down = Sabbath and Celebration

Oasis Community Church exists to communicate the good news of Jesus to the 130,000+ people who live in Stratford-on-Avon by blessing every space with the love of Jesus and inviting them to follow Jesus.

A Gospel Community is established as the relational and mutual accountability for a cluster of Missional Households (3-5) within a particular neighbourhood.
