Iain looks at 1 John 5, and how we know we are God's children and redeemed by Jesus. The key theme of the letter is loyalty to Jesus, who not only provides true life but is true life. The aim of the message from these verses is that we can have confidence in God and who he is, which is the fuel for true life expressed in our love for God and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Ruthlessly eliminating anything that hinders anything that stops us experiencing his true life.
